This is the first Mexican Horror Fantasy Film to win a Mexican Academy Award for its Cinematography and an early story about The Day of The Dead Celebration in Mexico's 1800 period. a very different film from 1959 as it deals with a poor farmer named Macario who because of being so poor thinks about idea of death and decides to go on a hunger strike until he can find a turkey that he can eat all by himself so his wife robs one and prepares it for him. as he goes into the woods to eat his turkey, he is confronted by God, the Devil, and Death.
