This "Santo" horror action adventure deals primarily with Haitian Voodoo, Witchcraft, Zombies, and a witch voodoo priestess. This is an unusual Santo adventure, not terrible but heavily padded with Haitian dance numbers and voodoo type footage and with impressive "action" scenes (both of the arena wrestling sequences are taken from La venganza de las mujeres vampiros). The plot combines horror (magic, zombies) with science fiction (a super explosive) in a reasonably clear manner, and the execution is inspired by pretty good production values. It was shot in Haiti by a Mexican crew, and the only major character who wasn't a regular in Mexican cinema is Gerty Jones, who is adequate. If you are looking to complete your "Santo" Collection and a completist then, this film is a must have. Starring Santo, Elsa Cardenas, and Sasha Montenegro, Uncut Spanish Version with English Subtitles plus added Bonus Features. 1972 Color 88 Minutes on DVD-R.
