From 1964 to 1979, Blue Demon (El Demonio Azul) starred in a total of 25 action/horror/science fiction films. Of those 25 films, Santo co-starred with him in nine of them, here we have the third film in the horror series, "La Sombra Del Murcielago" (Shadow of The Bat). Blue Demon, the legendary masked hero of Mexican wrestling, faces off with a bat-faced phantom who longs for the glory days when he too was a great wrestler, before his terrible accident. Now, The Shadow of The Bat lusts for a beatiful nightclun singer, which he watches on TV down in his cave, and eventually kidnaps her. Blu Demon comes to her rescue fighting off The Bat-Like Shadow wrestler in his cave to save the day. This is an excellent horror (LUCHA) film with Fernando Oses as The Shadow, and for the early films of Blue Demon, highly recommended!.
