In 19th century Madrid a young man plays roulette. A mysterious character helps him by pointing with his walking stick the next number where the ball is going to fall. The protagonist is the only one able to see him. The mysterious man turns out to be the ghost of an archaelogist and asks the young man to defend his niece from a gang of hunchbacks. The Tower of the Seven Hunchbacks (Spanish:La Torre de los Siete Jorobados) is a 1944 Spanish horror mystery film directed by Edgar Neville. It is based on a novel of the same title by Emilio Carrere. This is a great gothic Horror film with many elements from the classic Universal Horror films of the 40's and was shot entirely in Spain. A must see and have for the fans of early 40's Classic Horror films. Starring Antonio Casal, Isabel de Pomes, and Guillermo Marin this is the Uncut Spanish Version with English Subtitles. 1944 B/W Spanish Horror 85 Minutes on DVD-R.
